| Oh Grace, it was wonderful! 3 of my brothers lifted my chair up on the altar, I stood up, they moved it to the side and I hung on to my son's arm, while my husband stood on the other side of me and held me up. It was a wonderfully frightening moment! But we have pictures of me standing! I have practiced for months so that I would be able to do this. The goal of walking down the aisle with my son wasn't realistic, but maybe by the time my daughter is ready to marry, I will be one of the walking wounded, too! Your maybe future daughter in law sounds like a nice addition to your family. I hope it works out for them. My daughter is very adament that she will not be doing this for a long time. She's getting her master's in education and wants to go on for a doctorate in public admin. she told us that maybe after she buys a house, pays down her school loans, and has achieved her career goal...maybe...The young man she is in a relationship with is in Ottawa Canada, attending Ottawa U. I agree with the gas thing. I've never passed gas in public before like this. and it is damn embarrassing! mostly for me it is when I am transferring or trying to stand. I had to give up broccoli. I never realized how gassy it made me. And we only buy those long thin cukes now, too. I'm sure I will discover other things too. Does anyone use Beano and would it work for us? Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Boy did we get hit with winter today. I think yesterday was our last day of warm weather for awhile!
