Hi
My husband Dev is still in India and had MRI and lumber puncture done
again. the good news is that with all the tests done MS is ruled out as there
were no lesions on the spine and no more in the brain. However his spine MRI
showed
"diffused thinning of the dorsal spinal cord extending
from D1 to D10 vertebral levels with intrinsic hyperintensity extending from D5
to D9 levels predominantly involving gray matter on either side. Low lying peg
shaped tonsils" Could anyone (the doctors on the list) explain in layman's language what this is, the effects of it and physical impacts. What caused it and and what can be done about it? He also did an endoscopy of his bladder and got it scraped. Hopefully his bladder infection of E. Coli will be less bothersome. with love from Kenyan Coast Nima
