Hi Terry - I had one last December. They gave me a local & put me in a fetal position. On my own, I couldn't do a good enough fetal - they had to push & hold me. No pain, just very uncomfortable.

Last time I had one was a nightmare--was having extreme neuropathic pain and couldn't bend at the waist to allow them to put the needle in. Needless to say, just the thought of having another one makes me queasy. Has anyone had one recently?
