There's an article on candida here: _http://www.emedicinehealth.com/candidiasis_yeast_infection/article_em.htm_ (http://www.emedicinehealth.com/candidiasis_yeast_infection/article_em.htm) I would think the ankle would be an unlikely place to get it because you usually get it in moist places that don't get a lot of air, like where thigh and groin meet. Could it be an allergic reaction to something you brushed against while mowing grass? Hi Barbara - I have been told he same thing by the two neurologists that I have seen, that it's a one time occurrence, and I am the way I am now because of scar tissue inside spinal chord. I am blaming new things on the fact that I am nowhere near as active as I used to be, and have become weaker. Presently, I am trying to push myself harder - doing more, which for me is VERY tough - it's easier to sit around more - easy to get discouraged because I get so fatigued. I mowed my lawn on Saturday (on rider mower) and was a basket case on Sunday - tired and sore! Also, I have developed a rash on my ankle (about the size of half dollar) that won't go away. I am seeing a Doctor this week about it. Maybe it's Candida? What are the symptoms of Candida?
