I have not gotten a flu shot since I was dx with TM 31/2 years ago. My
neurologist says the flu shot my have precipitated my TM & told me no
immunization of any kind from now on. This includes flu, pneumonia, & even
tetanus shots. My primary care MD gives me a Rx for Tamiflu to have filled
"just in case", but I have never had to use it. I am very particular about who
comes to the house & everyone knows if they or their kids have any kind of
sniffles to stay home. I avoid crowds during the winter & tend to stay at
home. It has worked for me so far.

I know this is very controversial within the group. Neither one of my
neurologist have told me NOT to get one, including Dr. Kerr. They both have
said that it was safe. My primary care physician suggests I get it since I
have heart disease and diabetes.
