I've never gotten a flu shot in my life, even pre-TM. I haven't had the flu since TM that I can remember and I don't think I've had it all that often through the years even before. I've always been a little afraid of the flu shot since some on the list got TM after having it, but since so many people have had the flu shot with no problems, if I were at risk -- prone to flu or with respiratory problems - I'd get it, but otherwise I don't feel a need to. I know this is very controversial within the group. Neither one of my neurologist have told me NOT to get one, including Dr. Kerr. They both have said that it was safe.
