Michelle,

When I wrote to you I had not checked out my mail closely enough and what I
thought was information from you turned out to be a book from a TM buddy in
Hawaii.

Do you live in Hawaii too? Because, I will admit that I have not looked at
the book I got yet due to still being on major drugs for pressure sores and
pyloric stenosis, etc However, the book comes from our Christian bookstore so
I know who it is from..I have not received anything from you as of yet.

I guess what got me was that this time it seemed to me like you were
blatently selecting the newcomers and this just seems wrong. Newcomers need
concrete medical "advice" from those of us who have been through what they are
experiencing only now for the first time. They don't yet need to have a job
thrown in their faces. That's what ticked me off about the whole thing.

The one thing that I did which was inconsiderate to you was to email you and
also the List at the same time. I have gotten angry at others for doing the
same thing and here I am, humbled again, for that and only that.

I also have severe memory difficulties and cannot recall whether you have TM
or is it another in your family? I will say one thing more, and that is:

I (we), some of us...feel a bit watchful over newcomers to the List. This
is a pretty scary place to be and I try to make the transition from having a
life, to no longer feeling like being a contributing member of society, along
with all of the physical, mental, painful horrid realities that slap one in
the face when hit with TM.

I believe that newcomers do not need to be slammed also with HI, De,Ho,
Hurrah!!! Let's get on the bandwagon, you newly devistated in mind, body and
pocketbook. We're going to have fun, fun, fun and make lots of easy money...

I'd rather see you take on some of the TM'ers who have been around the
block, as the saying goes, a few times. I would then be interested in seeing
how
many of us sign on with you. We could have a group chat and you can pitch
your program to everyone at the same time, except for the newbies...let them
deal with what is on their plates. Now is the time for them to do that.

I'm not putting you down Michelle, just think your tactics are out of focus
and I know that looking for new people to work with me another old adage
applies.
"Honesty is the best policy."

Peace and Prayers,
Jude
