I think you will also get some relief from your TM neuropathic pain.
On Oct 11th, I replaced my gabapentin rx with Lyrica at the suggestion of my
Neuro. I was taking 600mg of gabapentin every 6 hours, but now take 75 mg
Lyrica every 12 hours. My pain level is about the same, however, I don't get
the horrid spikes that make me wank to cut my leg off. I've only had one of
those evenings since starting the Lyrica. The advantage over gabapentin is
that Lyrica begins working within 20 minutes. I used to suffer in pain for
up to 2 hours waiting for the gabapentin to take effect when I had been
over-active or the weather and temperatures played havoc with my pain level.
Knowing that the Lyrica works faster is a great mental and physical relief.
I've learned that Lyrica works faster on an empty stomach.
Good Luck

My doctor and I have discussed Lyrica for my diabetic neuropathy. I think I
will try it. Those of you who have used this medication for TM-tell me,
please, is it helpful for TM, also? Will I be helping two problems???
