The fact that 56 million people has no medicalcare at all, place the US on a place in the top 100, around 37. Above you are third world countries, who maybe does not have the quality, but there is enough medical care for everyone.

OK, if you are working or you're blind - you get help from the government. I worked for 40 years - true only part time thru high school and college and 3 mo. off to have my daughter total of 4 1/2 yrs max - but I still worked 40 - 80 hrs per week for 36+ years. Now when I, as with all who are disabled, and could use a break from the government, we don't get counted. GREAT COUNTRY we live in! Help those that are able to help themselves! Sorry but I read what 2nd and 3rd world countries are doing for health care and medical breakthroughs - and then the GREAT USA wants to go around telling countries/governments how to run their business. Out of 11 countries with less deaths and greatest medical care per capital - guess where the USA was? Not at the top as most of us would like to think OR our government would like us to believe, but #11 WAY BELOW #10 this as ranked by USA TODAY or TIMES magazine I forget which one I was reading! Sorry- I hate to rant but I really am feeling cheated by nature and my government!
