Thank you Frank for the information.  This sure answers a lot of my questions.  
And probably like most of us, each day is different with these symptoms.

  TM affects the spinal cord which is full of nerves. Some of the nerves carry 
sensation, some carry motor signals that make the muscles contract, bones to 
move, aim my finger at the keyboard and make sure that my finger lands on the 
right key.  There are also nerves that control the flow of blood in our hands, 
feet, skin, everywhere in our bodies.  All these nerves get messed up with the 
damage to the spinal cord so we get cold, or hot feet /hands, swelling where 
there shouldn't be any, lack or profuse sweating. I could go on...
