Hi Heather,

I am trying to use one of these devices now. You have to be tested to see if
the nerve that the machine uses is still in tact. In my case they haven't been
able to get a good result from the nerve yet. We are still trying though when
I go for PT, hopefully it will work out!

I have seen it on someone else though! It is amazing to see it work. I think
that this device is going to be something that will be a great help for those
of us with foot drop as long as our nerves are still functioning in that area.

Subject: [TMIC] Has anyone used this device for foot drop?

  Hi there,

I was just at my Physiatrist this afternoon. Got a shot of cortizone in the
weak side hip for bursitis there. It helped last spring so hope it will help
this year too. I can get it every 2 or 3 months if I need to.

Anyway, he told me about this new device and I would like to know if anyone
else has heard of it or tried it. He told me it was worth $4000. but now
there is a group called Aids for Daily Living here that will cover it. I am
going to get him to give me a prescription for it and see how it works. But I
want to read up on this on this website first.

  Thanks,
