Trudy,

That's a wonderful, powerful last statement - and so VERY true!

Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles; It empties today of its
strengths.

With me, worry brings on stress, stress brings on more severe TM
complications.  I also believe that my immune system along with stress brought
on my TM.

Subject: [TMIC] Stress!

I believe stress was a major factor in my TM. I had just returned from Florida
trying to convince my elderly parents that they had to move to an assisted
living community. They truly could no longer take care of themselves. I spent a
week cleaning their house! I was absolutely exhausted. They absolutely refused
to leave Florida  "over my dead body" was the answer! I flew home on Sunday,
went to work Monday and two days later woke up in the middle of the night with
a backache.... I knew something was wrong..... by the time I got to the
emergency room
I was paralyzed from the waist down! That was Feb. 7, 2002. I have come a long
way with the incredible help of 4 children and an awesome husband. I try to
meditate and do breathing exercises every day along with the physical
exercises. I've got to learn to let go of those things I have no control over!
Not easy.... but I'm better today.
