Hi Candy,

No other suggestions for you, but do call an attorney and do talk to the Dr.
I just wanted to say we are here for you and I wish you the best of luck at
getting this worked out. Hang in there!!

Subject: [TMIC] Disability Insurance Problems

Well today has really started off great. I received a check from my
independent disability insurance co. Staurday for 7-1-08 thru 7-4-08. When
I called, to find out why, the rep tells me that their review board has
decided that after 2 1/2 years that I could be doing working seditary work
in todays economy.
I stated that I had not gotten any info informing me of such. The rep
apolozied and said he would be sending a letter in the next day or two
explaining.
I told the rep that if they could find me a job where I could work 2 maybe 3
days a week for 2 or 3 hours at max and an employer who would allow me to
call, or not call because I'm totally exhusted and sleep thru an alarm, that
paid $25 to $30 an hour, then I'd give it a whirl. However, the jobs here
in Naples, FL are service oriented and the "better" paying jobs require you
to be up and mobile.
The rep stated one time that it was the review board doctor and then another
time that it was my doctor that stated I was fit to work in a seditary
position.
I see my doctor tomorrow and I guess I need to consult a lawyer. These
insurance companies are something else!
I'm so upset and yet I keep telling myself to calm down cause I know what
stress does to me and my condition.
Does anyone have any advise other than what I plan to do?
Prayers and thoughts for you and yours,
Candy K.
