Good Morning! I've taken it now for about 2 1/2 years and have had very few
side effects other than weight gain but I think that was because they had
put me on a very high dose to start with. It has been so easy to take
(because of the lack of bad side effects (for me)) and it really does work
for me in that it takes the horrific pain away and replaces it with warmth
instead of the icy cold/acid-like pain and spasms. The pain is still there
but very tolerable. It takes about 20 minutes to work and stays with me for
several hours.

I only take (2) 75mg a day but it had gotten where that smaller amount was
not working and the pain increase was putting me in bed. My provider wanted
me to try Ultracet added to the Lyrica and that has made me feel better than
I have since I came down with TM. I had a few side effects when I started
that but I was also started on Lamisil at the same time for toenail fungus.

Hooray!!! I just hung in there and the SE finally went away. I finally had
to break down and get one of those little weekly pill holders!!!

Each person is different and I know it hasn't worked for others so it seems
to be a matter of trying it out. Good luck and hugs for you on this snowing
Sunday morning!!! Jeanne

Subject: [TMIC] Lyrica

My neuro now tells me that my symptoms are caused by much more than TM.
Namely vasculatis. She put me on Lyrica and I woke up this AM with a pretty
nasty headache. Should I put up with this and it will pass? What were your
problems or successes with Lyrica?
R
