Hi
I was unable to take the gabapentin, so I have been on lyrica for 2.5 years. Just recently the dosage was increased to 225mg in the a.m. and 150mg in the p.m. Weight gain, ya, but I am now built for comfort, not for speed! And the burning band has eased up considerably. The downside to lyrica is the cost, for me anyway, here in BC Canada. Oh well, the alternative of not walking is worth the expense. I do not recall a headache, though. I do know that it has helped with the burning, tingling, shock feeling, and now I only experience the numbness. I think it is worth the try. Namely vasculatis. She put me on Lyrica and I woke up this AM with a pretty nasty headache. Should I put up with this and it will pass? What were your problems or successes with Lyrica?
