I too agree that there is a whole lot to be said for a very comfy recliner.
There are so many, actually, way too many nights, that I spend in the recliner.
I generally will spend at least some part of my sleep in the recliner each
night, generally the first part of anywhere from a half hour to many hours. I
also get reflux, and when I am having trouble, the recliner helps me get my
legs up, but I can be sitting up enough to not have the reflux problems and can
get sleep too. It also helps if I don't eat within a couple of hours before
trying to get to sleep, but as any of us know that need to take any kind of
narcotic, you should take with a little food. There are those nights that I
take a vicodin.......loving life with TM. I will not complain, I have several
close to me that have cancer.

FOR ME, THE RECLINING CHAIR WAS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE BED, SINCE I DON’T
SLEEP THAT WELL ANYWAY, BUT I HIT THE RECLINER OFTEN AND IT MUST BE
COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO NAP IN. THOSE NAPS COUNT WITH ME.

Again the ability of the bed itself to move/ adjust mediates
and aids whatever mattress. I think the mattress i got is
crap i can feel the metal springs with my hands, but my body
doesn't notice....sometimes i go to sleep
nearly sitting up and other times I am laying flat --- sometimes legs slightly
raised
(a fun way to exercise in bed)
that (and six pillows) is wonderful aid to going to sleep
soon after I adjust myself.
