Hi Patti, I was prone to uti's before and after tm. Then I read somewhere (maybe here?) that when you think you are finished voiding, bend over so you're facing the floor and try to go more. 99.9% of the time I go a lot more;this fully empties the bladder and you get fewer uti's. I haven't had a uti since I started doing this;I hope it helps you. I know what you mean about nighttime.I getup at least twice a night. Cheryl in Easthampton,MA.

I HAVE NOTICED A FEELING THAT I CAN'T DESCRIBE. IT IS NOT THE FEELING I HAD WHEN I HAD TO GO POTTY BEFORE TM, BUT A FEELING OF SLIGHT CRAMPING OR DISCOMFORT RIGHT WHERE THE BLADDER IS. THAT TELLS ME I HAVEN'T GONE POTTY FOR AWHILE, SO I BETTER DO IT NOW. IF I DON'T I AM SORRY. ALSO, I WAKE DURING THE NIGHT WITH THE SAME FEELING SO I HAVE TO GET UP TO GO. I HAVE TO GET UP AT LEAST ONCE DURING THE NIGHT, SOMETIMES TWICE. I STILL WEAR PADS DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT. I WEAR SPECIAL NIGHTIME PADS. AT TIMES I AM SOAKED AND TIMES I AM PRACTICALLY DRY. THE BLADDER PROBLEMS ARE WHAT REALLY GET ME DEPRESSED. I AM ALSO PRONE TO GET UTI'S A LOT. I AM LUCKY I HAVEN'T HAD ONE LATELY, AND WILL PROBABLY BE SORRY I JUST SAID THAT. HOPE THIS INFO HELPS. I wanted to ask how many of us still have bladder problems after years of TM. I certainly do. Will you guys please comment?
