I miss most being able to using my hands easily - I used to do all kinds of crafts - crossstitch, scraping booking , & sewing - it is almost impossible now. I had to retire from a wonderful job. I hate having to ask for help with things. So much for the pitty party - I try to remember NOT why God did this to me , but why he did this FOR me - there has to be a purpose. Linda E. - Texas

So now that I have an inkling of what a physiatrist could do --- especially as he had a "hand specialist"
on board, perhaps you could ask for a hand specialist.

I'm with you, I'm a crafter, a maker of things. and as a parplegic, the hands are even more critical.

Here are a couple of suggestions : get massage, try acupuncture,
I remember when being in the hospital physcial therapy, there were acitivites focused on those who
problems where with their hands.

And I too want to know, why.
