Is Rocksteady a common word? I found it strange that a band like No Doubt would mention it. Found out whne watching the end of Smallville today with their music hawkings...
Actually, I believe Rock-Steady is a term used to perceive something as being solid and immobile, plus I've heard the word Bebop used as a form of dancing.
And I've also heard Rocksteady as something being which is steady and reliable... in fact, the computer in my office is named Rocksteady-- named not only because it's rather reliable and solid, but also because it's kinda slow and screws up once in a while. ;)
