It took a long time for me too. I thought about saving it as a GIF so that I could interlace and then it can upload first as blocky, unfocused pixels. But for some reason, JPG read as taking up 55 KB compared to the GIF size of 107. I'm still trying to learn about sizes of images and loading them faster and all that junk....lol, but out of it all, glad you liked it. :) > > > including characters from Final Fantasy 6. Well, luckily, I got to it in time so I was able to vote for every single category. I thought the 14th was the deadline but I read that wrong. The deadline is TODAY! Um, but yeah, it's still the 16th here but not in Australia so I'm hoping Amanda meant the 16th of our time zone. > > > Lastly, I'm still working on "The Sacred Moonstone" fanfic and have > > finally put up chapter 5 if anyone is interested in reading it. > > Please, give me some feedback if you've got something nice or evil to > > say! > > http://brinatello.splunkyard.com/fanfic3-sequel.htm > > *modest grin* way behind on my reading right now, but I'll keep that > in mind. Otherwise, all the fics just > sound like fan girl fantasies about that particular character they > admire. I haven't been able to read much fanfic in other areas because > of the fangirl thing. *rolls eyes* ;p Yes, one POTO fanfic was written and actually published by a fan whom gave a copy to Davis Gaines, the Phantom actor of the L.A. and Broadway productions. I think he liked it but if you read it, you'll see how it has a lot to do with girlish fantasies. The stories I've read dealt with a change to the ending of the musical as well as completely altering the story itself. If anyone wants to know of an excellent novel based on that tale, go read "Phantom" by Susan Kay. It is by far the most tragic and beautiful love story ever written. Whoops! Gotta stay on-topic! Heh, hey, just picture Raph's demonic temper (not to mention when he got hideously deformed from Image), then add the calmer side to Leo's personality, think of Don's brainiac intelligence, and lastly Mike's artistic side and you've got a fine example of the character Erik! If you think about it, the TMNT and the Phantom have quite a lot in common. :D > > > Okay, one more thing that's off-topic. Wimp. I need to work and it will be good with the upcoming Christmas season. Brinatello
