It works indeed. How only could I miss it in the manual.
But what seems strange to me:
In the manual I've found:
If -d is used, -x and -y specify the size of the initial window (80
by 24 if not given).
But it is definetely not 80 by 24 by default.
It seems to use the seize of the parent terminal as the default,
even if started in the detached mode.
