If you like or just remove the bit about the default, I'm not sure it is
even worth documenting.

Ok, but anyway it would be better to write in the manual something
like:

    If -d is used, -x and -y  specify  the  size  of  the  initial
    window (by default size of the parent terminal is used,
    or 80 by 24 if you start it without a parent terminal).
