Hi all

I use a layout similar to the built-in even-horizontal layout for the
majority of my work: vim in the main pane on the left, and 2-3 small panes
on the right for source control, logs, etc. Generally, I don't care about
the specific width of the main pane, only that it's as wide as possible with
the other panes being a minimum of 80 characters wide.

I've not done any tmux development yet, but would like to get my hands dirty
this week by writing a patch to add an option to specify the "other" panes'
widths instead of the main's. Would this kind of patch be considered for
inclusion in mainline tmux?

Cheers
Dave
