What do you mean that the enter key doesn't do anything? The normal 5250 numeric pad enter key is the key you can press to justify the data entered into a field. For example, if you enter data into a field that needs a number, the enter key justifies the data to the right.
After you enter your name and password you normally need to press the right "Cntrl" key to have the screen processed. The IBM client access and tn5250j can also be configured so that the return key is also the process data key. In short, the return key is not the same as the enter key, and they are normally not the process data key. -Scott >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 10/26 7:19 >>> How? lol!! I obviously don't have a lot of experience in this realm. I was showing this to another fellow here @work, and the first thing that he thought of was to try it on a desktop PC with a "real keyboard" - ie; one with the number pad. It works. Here on my laptop - I can key in my name and password - but the "enter" key doesn't seem to actually do anything. Stuck again. ;( <grin> Thanks.... -=- jd -=- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click _______________________________________________ Tn5250j-general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tn5250j-general
