Hi,

libiconv is known to me,

I presume you are running the Wikipedia DVD version on a Mac?

http://www.google.com/mac.html

mac google tntreader

search mac sites
=> gave me approx 168 hits.

Apple Developer Connection
had no problems of this kind reported.

I have noticed the issue,
is it only the case for the german version of wikipedia?

Could you report the exact dvd version and country code plus the same
info from your mac? US mac running DE DVD Wikipedia ?

usually
uname -a
will tell us the rest.

After the problems with opensolaris is resolved I can come back to
investigate BSD and darwin BSD.

Have you tried the DVD in another mac?

same error ?

Morten
