Hi Morten, Thank you for your reply. I have tried both the DVD version and the updated version from http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:DVD. Both Versions are German. I'm sorry I can't tell you the DVD version and region code because I don't have it anymore. I am using the recent files from the page linked above.
I haven't tried this DVD on another mac, but if I get an opportunity I will, of course.
