Hello Martin,

I guess I don't really understand this question, as
decimal points are normally not printed when
printing integers.  I wonder if maybe you are
mistaking the thousands separator for the
decimal point, as in different locales, they
are switched, something like:

en_AU: decimal point is '.', thousands separator is ','
de_DE: decimal point is ',', thousands separator is '.'

(But of course you must know this better than I, since
your sig and email address says you are in Germany).

If its the thousands separator you are trying to
get rid of, then you can do that by setting the "C"
locale, something like:

const char *localeStr = "C";
std::locale loc(localeStr);
std::cout.imbue(loc);

Or at least this works with Apache stdcxx, which
understands locales.
