Hi Oliver,

I just wanted to write yes but then I thought a second time. No - it
won't. It does not solve your problem.

The problem is, that the parent process has to read the configuration to
know, that it runs in daemon mode. And the configuration is kept in a
static variable. The child process is just forked and do not read the
configuration again.

It is possible to somehow clean the configuration and restart the child
but it is really worth? You can restart tntnet to achieve that.

What is the advantage to have some signal to reload the configuration in
contrast to restarting the server?

Tommi
