Bill,
Ok that makes sense. I figured out what is actually sending the mail,
and it is cron. It appears that the /home/vpopmail/bin/clearopensmtp
script is resulting in some errors. Here is what is in the cron
e-mails:

Received: (qmail 2693 invoked by uid 0); 19 Feb 2003 20:09:00 -0000
Date: 19 Feb 2003 20:09:00 -0000

X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root>

tcprules: fatal: unable to parse this line: 127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT=""(IP
OF TEST.COM HERE):allow,RELAYCLIENT="",RBLSMTPD=""

When I clear out: /home/vpopmail/etc/open-smtp file of all information
/home/vpopmail/bin/clearopensmtp runs just fine. It is when it has
information in it that it errors. Hope this helps. Thanks for the
help.

Probably because your ~alias/.qmail* files are empty. Put your email
address (or wherever you want root mail to go) in those three .qmail
files. Then do qmailctl doqueue, and they will get delivered.

Also, reply only to the list, don't cc me. I'm already on this list.
