You should change defaultdomain to youremaildirect.com instead of mail.yourmaildirect.com The messages are in the queue because the domain can't be found, you should see that in the logs (/var/log/qmail/current), and they are 6 days old maybe because you are using the default queuelifitime wich is 604800 seconds (7 days).

I don't know if this is what it is suppose to be or if it needs to be youremaildirect.com? Any help would be appreciated.
