Well, I created a queuelifetime file and gave it a value of 86400 seconds (1
day). I then ran 'qmail-showctl' and found that the queue lifetime has
changed to the value of the queuelifetime file. However, when I look at the
defaultdomain file it has youremaildirect.com as you had indicated.
However, the following files have mail.youremaildirect.com in them:

/var/qmail/control/locals
/var/qmail/control/me
/var/qmail/control/rcpthosts

Could this be where the problem is coming from? I am thinking back on when
I installed the toaster and it instructed me to run the following command:

# on the next line replace "full.hostname" with the hostname of your mail
server
./config-fast full.hostname

Am I suppose to put just the domainname here...? This is where I put
mail.youremaildirect.com (host.domainname)... What files did the
config-fast alter in case I need to make a change?

Thanks,

Stephen Harmon
