I was missing the step to start the Toaster logger, but it is included in
step 8: Start the BitBake server. This is the bit I was referring to:
Start the logging user interface using the
following command:
$ nohup bitbake --observe-only -u toasterui >toaster_ui.log &
Should we make it its own step, instead of part of the BitBake server
start one?
