Prasanthi.....remember I suggested/spoke of not giving money directly to the
patient families at times....specially for after surgery maintenance
medications and stuff???? I did tell u that I prefer buying the medication n
handing over in person....inplace of money... to avoid misuse of funds. This
wud be an appropriate way to spend every penny we donate in the right
fashion since we can hand over the initial cheques for surgery and so on
directly to the doctors/hospital concerned anyways.
About buying the medications thing..I think ..that if you can find a medical
store very close to tp office.....which can be regularly used for this
purpose....receipt n time management both go easy. You can call the
family/families on one of ur meeting days..so that the members get to meet
them on one hand..and u can hand over the necessary at the same time too.
Again just a suggestion.....to make sure....each penny we donate is spent
only against what it is donated for.
