02:00 PM EST - I entered the Conference...and Sitaram entered right
after. Everytime a person joins or leaves, a bell rings. Sounds very
much like the long rectangular stone bell of Zilla Parishad schools. I
found it very funny. It is suppose to let us know that sum1
entered/exited I gather.
02:01 PM EST - Suresh, Nachaki & his friend Venu joined us.
There were hi's and how r u's and introductions going on.
Suddenly we noticed that Sitaram was missing..and no one heard a bell
of exit. I was wondering if he was Mouna-vratoing today. He told us
later, joining two mins later, that he accidentally hit the mute
button on the phone and was ofcourse talking to himself for a while :)
02:12 PM EST: We were all waiting for our Honourable Cheif Guest - our
dear Mr. Chandra Manubothu. Sitaram made his excuses to the group for
couple of mins...and successfully managed to bring Mr.Chandra into the
conference with proper honours (Garlands/boquet of flowers etc.).
A short speech from Mr.Chandra and some englightenment went on for
couple of mins. In short he was kind enough to give us his precious
time. He actually disconnected another VERY IMP conf call for ours.
(How sweet!!! & Kiind) One of his wise words - quote - Californians
(all apparently) actually always follow 15 behind their Standard Time.
(More or less like day light savings - California savings).
02:15 PM EST: We convened the meeting officially. (Pls refer to the
official part of it in Suresh's MoM mail).
02:50 PM EST: We covered almost everything we had on the agenda.
(Every now and then Mr. Chandra was breaking up on us since his cell
phone antena was as busy as him too).
02:51 PM EST: I had a question for all. What triggered all of the
members to get into Organisations like ours...or help others?. (Was
really motivating and nice to know how all of us walked into this path).
02:55 PM EST: I needed some tissues to dab my eyes on my own story of
what triggered me to join MAD. (All the men were confused/lost on what
to say/do I guess. The only female in the group was almost
tearing..hehehe. Thnks for ur patience guys. U were sweet enough to
listen in silence).
03:05 PM EST approx. : The meeting got spilled over for another ten
minutes.
Final 2-3 minutes:
We thanked our Hon.MR.Chandra for his precious time. He actually
hinted us that perhaps he wont' be able to spare so much time in
future...and expects some major activity in couple of months.(J/K)

Conclusion:
Good number for a first conf call meet. We had some light moments and
some really good discussions. Good points discussed and I liked the
view of members against MAD activities. When a qn was asked.....all
had something valuable to add to it. I think this is important. I felt
for once..that we are a group here too :) We have a M.A.D. US group
too Guys... CHEERS !!!
