Hello Friends,

Good Morning/Evening.

In fact today's meeting is the most fruitful meeting ever conducted
here in hyderabad. We started at 7:15 pm and it went on upto 10:15 pm.

Participants:
Prasanthi, Murali, Chandra, Jairam, Srinivas (Jairam's friend and our
new member), Dr. Sundara Raja Perumal and his two doctor friends (Dr.
Sundar Raj Perumal is the friend of Subrahmanyam Mula and he came to
our blood donation camp along with him).

Raju, Raju's father and their relative M. Ashok Kumar also
participated in our meeting.

Sowmya couldn't attend today as she has to do some office related
work. She spent the whole of the morning with me till 1:30 pm today.
Yesterday also she has spent almost 3 hours in MAD activities only.

Krishna garu didn't know about the meeting. I assumed that he might
have seen the mail and I didn't ring to him again. When he rang to
know the details of Railway Koduru orphans, we are in the meeting.

Discussion points:

As Jairam and his friend Srinivas are relatively new (Jairam came once
and later he being out of station when our meetings are conducted, he
couldn't attend). So explained them about our activities and cases and
when Subbu's friends came in, I again explained about MAD, our
decisions etc., Then Raju, his father and relative came in. We started
discussing on Raju's case.

It seems that Raju's family is sincere only. All the people are
educated and do some thing or other work. Came to know that Raju did
work simultaneously in some mechanic shop from 10th to Degree and he
used to spend the scholarship amount also to the home. Even his sister
got district first in B.Ed. (I suppose).

They already decided that Raju's father goes into his job again. (His
company owners are too good and they provided monetary help and also
is continuing his service.) He would have gone back by this time if
Raju's case didn't get serious again.

Advantage today is we have three doctors with us today and they
enquired Raju all the medical related details. They adviced him to
take/consider Ayurvedic medicines in addition to the allopathic
medicines so that Raju need not depend highly on this allopathic
medicines. What Dr. Sundar Raj mentioned is Raju has to depend on such
medicines as his body couldn't adjust the kidney completely. With
ayurvedic medicines immunity will increase and then there would not be
the necessity of these many number of medicines.

Final Conclusion with respect to Raju's case:
1. Raju's father will get back to his job asap. To bring Raju to
Hyderabad for monthly checkups, his friends will take care.

2. Raju's sisters will come to hyderabad in two months (as one of the
sister is taking coaching for D.S.C.) and they will stay in hostel and
we will look after their employment. Seems both are very hard workers
and intelligent students. One is B.Sc., B.Ed. in Maths and the other
one completed B.Sc. in zoology (biological sciences). Seems both the
sisters and the mother are very good in stitching etc.,

3. Regarding Raju's health and medication, Dr. Sundar Raj will meet
Dr. Saharia when they go for a check-up next month and if Dr. Saharia
gives his consent to use the ayurvedic medicines, we will arrange for
the free medicines (in Ayurveda).

Other points of discussion:

1. Srinivas is also interested to provide monthly donations.

2. Srinivas, Jairam, Dr. Sundara Raj and one of his friends are
interested to be volunteers to counsel the parents of Thalessemic
children. Probably next saturday (I actually have another appointment
that day.) I can introduce them to Dr. Suman Jain.

3. M. Ashok Kumar, relative of Raju, also expressed his interest to be
a MAD member.

Two other cases that were discussed:

1. Subrahmanyam Mula's neighbours, a muslim family, is in trouble.
They need Rs. 33,000/- and 10,000/- rs is already generated. (5k is
given by Subbu himself). They will pay back the amount. How they will
pay back is there are 5 male members in the family and for two
employment is provided by Dr. Sundar Raj after giving them training
for free. At the rate of Rs. 2000 per month, they will pay back the
amount.

Based on the trust on Dr. Sundar Raj and the assurance from him,
Murali volunteered to give Rs. 25k from his own pocket instead of
mailing to the group. As I felt this should be known by the group, I
am writing about it too.

2. Regarding the brain tumour case, M. Ashok Kumar said that he can
help in guiding to get the CM Relief Fund. For that initially we need
to get a letter from an MLA and this will be taken care of Chandra garu.

Overall today's meeting is a very very fruitful one and I could see a
very active and dynamic group in hyderabad too.

Thank you.

with regards,
PRASANTHI.
