Hm... More or less what I thought. Just kept thinking what did u want to do with ur servant/s that worried ur parents so much.
I know what you mean when you say these girls might infact be scared when men approach them. Abuses such as these can only have two effects on a woman. Either she looses her minimest of strength n prefers sitting in dark un-noticed corners or becomes a Cat and hunts down every man walking towards her. In my lines....I think....it is something inbetween these two that a Woman needs to align with. As a bounceback....turn her emotions into thoughts - think/think/think....what can you do to help urself...becos u dont' help urself first...then no one else can. As biased as it sounds...coming out untouched & unseeked for seems to be the biggest challege a female faces today in her worklife...specially in cases where these girls/women are the bread-earners...and the otherend knows that this female has to work till she gets that paycheque. Stepping stone according to me is starting to raise ur girls along with boys - treating them both equal. Donot look at ur girl like a flower....or make her feel like one all the time. She has every right to be aware of how the outside world is. The shell called family ofcourse is heaven and super safe...but the sad fact is that you cannot keep ur precious little girl in it all her life. Very soon by the time you realise...she is out there in the open world either in the name of education or work. Prepare her for this and if possible teach her to be a fighter when needed. She has to know how to cruise around situations. She can't afford to wait for family to come help all the time. A Girl is a Daughter, Sister, Friend, Wife, Mother is what we hear. But...if situation demands.....she can be a weapon of steel...this is what you need to build into her. We as parents are the ones who can make this possible since we are her early teachers and we are the people she looks up to and tries to follow all her first years of life. Though I believe that changes in a woman's being can come anytime becos of sitations around her....it is a sad fact that these always come with a cost. She changes becos she had to face something otherwise to what she has been raised/used to. We can change this if we as parents work on it from our girls' infant stage. Make ur girl a fighter too....not a flower totally please!! Simply because you cannot expect each and every to handle her like U did and she has but no option to live in todays' society. -Divya ************************************************************************** --- In [email protected], "Lakshmi Prasanthi Uppalapati" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > It seems everyone misunderstood my abrupt ending of the mail. > > Somehow I was not in mood then to pen.
