Hi All, Pavan rang to me this evening after returning to Bangalore. They got the xerox copies of the reports with them. They will scan and post them. They also will post a copy of the xerox copies to Dr. Sundar Raj.
Coming to Vishal after accident they were taken to a hospital after accident and they were referred to some other hospital and got a treatment there. They tried homeopathy, ayurveda etc., They do not know about the institute in Delhi (Indian Spinal Injuries Center). They happen to see a program in TV reg. the China hospital and the cases similar to him being cured and the patients could stand and walk and do things on their own. That is how they contacted the hospital and got a date for the operation. Then they thought of raising the money and one of their friends suggested a website wherein for some other cases, the victims could get enough amount once they posted the details in website. That is how they come with the idea of a website. But the person who designed the website for them charged them some big amount and he takes some 10 rs or so to enter each donor information. There is no organization so far to support them. Pavan and Raghu promised them to do the work and also we promised Vishal to keep in touch and we try our level best to help him fight the problem. I tried to contact Ramakrishna garu of Eenadu for the contact details of the hospital in Delhi and also will ask him if it possible to post the news here. If such an operation can be done here in India, it would reduce the costs and would be very comfortable for post-operation treatment and consultation. As mentioned in the news item, ISIC, Delhi is a 90 bed hospital out of which 30 beds are allocated/reserved for poor and they would be treated free of cost. It has state of the art facilities and even people from abroad visit it. Hope for the best and try whatever we can from our side. ============== Reg. Swati's education, Sai garu rang to me this afternoon. Radhakrishna garu also there and we came to a conclusion to join Swati in the near by college as a day scholar and then keep in touch with her. Some of the sevadal volunteers' relatives stay in the nearby colony and through them we will take care of Swathi. Me and Ms. Lavanya should co-ordinate. As the colleges are started long back, tomorrow we will be joining her. Those people will talk to Principal and see if we can get any concession. We also should buy her text books, note books and other stationery. Sai garu adviced us to give any old dresses (good to wear to the college) to her instead of new dresses so that she shouldn't feel that she is pampered. We also should take care of her monthly expenses if any as if she is in a hostel. (to make her feel that she is not in want of any necessities). We should pay the money within next saturday and should buy her text books and note books. For that Sai garu asked us to go and pay to the college in person. College fee would be between Rs. 9000 and Rs. 9500 for the first year including tuition fee. I wish to know if Sowmya VB or Soumya or Kalpana -- anyone of you are free enough in the morning to go to BN Reddy Nagar. (Sowmya VB! Don't be angry on me as I know you are working on weekends also. Just want to know is there any least possibility. Kalpana! I know it would be difficult for you too as you are not feeling well of late. Soumya! I do not know about your feasibility. I badly need a woman member to go there. If it is not at all possible to anyone, I only will go as this is very urgent and important.) This is all the weekend status update. Thank you. --- In [email protected], "ulprasanthi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello Friends, > > Good Morning/Evening. > > Yesterday I rang to Ms. Lavanya and Sri Radhakrishna.
