Hello Friends, This is with regards to my earlier email about the merger of SHiFT and WWHY into TMAD.
As SHiFT is a registered organization and ours is not, it is not technically correct that SHiFT is going to merge in TMAD. In fact, we are closing our bank account and are ready to deposit in their account. I am pasting the following mail from Ratan ji. ================== There is a little communication gap. I did not suggest that SHiFT wants to merge in MAD. For that matter, I myself has already been merged into MAD. What I suggested is, SHIFT's bank account, being a registered one, can be utilised for fund transfer purpose. SHiFT, being a registered organisation, can not merge in any other organisation for documentation purpose. It can be the other way round. ================== Even with WWHY also I suggested not to close their account as they created it in the name of We Will Help You only unlike ours. Anyways, none of us (the members of all these groups) never bothered under which name we are doing the things but we (MAD group members) are more akin to the concept of 'Making a Difference' and the story behind the name. After all, the bottom line is we want to involve the interested members in other groups to participate in our activities so that we will have more number of volunteers to work on the tasks that appeal to all of us.
