Hi Suresh, A very good mail from you covering three important topics. I am about to mail the group and I saw yours.
1. Books: These are general books which can show them the world, expose them to the world that they haven't seen and they don't know much about. As they are telugu medium kids, Principal is requesting us to give telugu books only. But I seriously prefer some english books as well so that they will not be inferior and they will be used to the language. 2. Extending Anikepalli kind of activity to another school: It is a good idea. Let us find out some school which is near by Ameerpet, SR Nagar, Srinagar Colony. 3. All Members Meeting Schedule: This is also important, let us decide on it. As of now I have problem with my NET connection and owing to my timings, I am not sure if I can get it done by this Sunday or not. Otherwise I will come to your house or Ratanji's house to participate in the meeting. Coming to other topics, let us decide on the Agenda. We have to give the remaining amount to Mr. Sivakumar Sarvepalli, husband of Ms. Jayasree. What about Thalessemia? Can we plan for an event? Also what we want to do for New Year and/or our second anniversary (Feb 28). Good that people have taken the roles. Please grab the responsibility also from me :) Hyderabad people haven't assumed roles. I want to be a co-ordinator of all chapters. So I want someone here to be the local representative and to convene meetings and to come up with an agenda. These are the roles open for Hyderabad chapter: 1. Local Representative (from Jan onwards I don't want to be so) 2. Local Treasurer cum Accountant (Ratan ji, can you take care? I prefer so, as we would be depositing money in SHiFT's account.) Let us decide on other roles as well. Mainly we took up these causes: To unite all like-minded groups. I somehow seriously believe in this idea, let us mull over, discuss and come with a proper plan. I want someone from our group to share this responsibility with me. This saturday I want to meet CSIM people, I will take their appointment to discuss NGO Co-ordination. What we can do for Thalessemia Let us discuss on it. Can we plan any event? We have took up this as the cause of the year. But I feel we are not trying much. Newsletter Responsibility Who will report the activities in Hyderabad? Awaiting response from all of us here. Be active if not proactive.
