For the littlest ones,
you could think of making a chart by gluing flags
(which are distributed for pinning up on shirts) on a
map of India.
You could draw the map of India on a big piece of
paper. Or you could use  a big cardboard from a
cardboard box, if available. 

If you are warming up to any of these ideas, we could
discuss these among the group taking part in this
particular activity, instead of sending messages to
everyone in the group.

As for the contribution you might want to make towards
prizes, use them for something that is useful
collectively. May be sports goods for the school or
books for school library or art supplies etc.
