Summary and Details: - I had a talk with Mr. D.R. Prasad Rao (Maternal grandfather of the kid)..I asked the details of the kid. - The kid is not named yet, as of now the patient's name is kid of Aparna (his mother's name). He is suffering from liver failure. - Global Hospitals responded immediately after checking the news article. They took the initiative of performing the operation for free but the pre-medication and post-medication costs should be taken care by the patient's family. It is estimated to be around 5-6 lakhs. - Ganga Ram Hospital agrees with Global Hosp as the kid needs regular check ups after the operation and Sridhar and family cannot bear the expenses and also what if they need a quick medication within a short time was their question. - I also had a talk with Eenadu reporter who wrote this article. He is not having any idea of how much money has been accumulated. - One of my friends, Eaishvarya, took initiative and spread the word like fire in her Delhi aquaintances and people visited them.
