On new medical cases
Deciding on medical cases has been really a tough ask . It seems to be a very
contentious issue. Having said that we are learning and growing with every
experience. Now that we have raja ( Kinnera ) , his opinion and experience will
count a lot. So until then , we should NOT stop taking the medical cases . This
is very big motivation factor for the entire group .
Medical Campaigns
Prevention is better than cure , we all agree on that. This should be a
feature of our group , may be once in 3 months. We should also create lot of
awareness of such campaigns , so that we have a meaningful turnout and it
should be worth the time of each participant.
NIMS
This is probably a more innovative approach and should be definetly tried
atleast once. This probably needs a separate discussion , which most likely i
shall put up on my blog.
cheers

My suggestion is why not volunteers of Health group take lessons
from Dr. Sundar to know about our body, different organs and
functions, reasons for different diseases, prevention, healthy diet.
General diseases, root causes, prevention, cure, types of medicines,
usual cost of surgery etc., I think Ratan ji can help us in these
topics.
First, it helps us to refresh the science subject topics that we
learned in our primary classes. Second, we can immediately assess
about the estimates.
I think it is also good if we can know the charges of different
hospitals for various tests/surgeries. Down the line, let us make
good rapport with all the hospitals that consider poor people.

do something. I will not refuse to do something I can do . ( Helen Keller )
