Yes, this is indeed good idea. i have an add on. we can have greeting cards online as well. so if we know the email id of the members\donors our website could send mails to them thanking the participation. we can detail this feature as part of the website development (if this feature is not there already). admin\authorized users should be able to key in email ids and pick a greeting card (or image) and cick send which could send mails to the donors. while this may not have serious impact on the donors, still it might be good idea.
