I think we may have given this a thought in the past, but never pursued to the full extent. Our approach: Why reinvent the wheel, if there is a group, an organization out there that is already doing , then it makes more sense to liasion with them. Why ? They may have experience in that field, probably a working structure in place. So we could use our resources as in volunteers, time , money more effectively. As an example for WDP , FDP there may be volunteer organizations already doing that. Similarly for education, there are many organizations who are credible and sincere in their efforts. Vonumu, for example, is an organization that we could trust. We could divert some of our funds to sponsor the kids and even volunteer our time to teach some of their kids. If we come across somebody who would fit in the profile of a sponsored kid, then we can bring him/her under the vonumu organization. If we think this is a right approach, then i have a whole plan laid out already and we could start implementing ( after reviewing ofcourse ). cheers I am only one, but still I am one.
