I am ready to pitch in with some share of the amount that is required after the
Rs 5000/- limit that you have for sponsoring education to Swathi. Before that,
I would like to know why she requires 110 notebooks ...it is not like poking my
nose into her business..But just curious enough to know if education in AP
became such a costly and heavy affair..I feel those number of books on a higher
side even for a person who is very good in maintaining notebook for each and
every chapter and lesson?...I know couple of my family members who are also
doing their intermediate from a big corporate college. Even they do not mandate
so many books.

Anyway, none of my business ...coming to the point of expenditure, I feel the
following are the main heads which we are planning to support.

Fees - Rs 5000
Notebooks - Rs 2200 (on an average a books costs Rs 20, 20*110 = Rs 2200/- )
Textboks - Rs 1500 ( This is just an assumption..)
-------------------------------
Rs 8700/-

As of the moment I send this email, after collating the emails on this subject,
someone already pitched in with Rs 1116/-. If that is the case, The difference
is still Rs 2584 ( Rs8700- (Rs5000+Rs1116) )

I am ready at this moment with Rs 1000+ . Please correct me if my assumptions
on the expenditure are way too far.

Also, shall I transfer the amount to ICICI account?...For me to send the money
in USD through chandra will add to delay. I would ask my brother to transfer on
my behalf directly.

Thanks,
Uday

Subject: [tomakeadifference] Re: Swathi Education Support - An Update

An Update:

This morning Radhakrishna garu gave a call to me. Classes are
already started and she needs some note books. He has sent a person
to tell in her college that we will pay the fee in a week or so and
to give her notebooks that she require immediately. That person will
go there this evening.

I thought of transfering amount to his account but he has Andhra
Bank account, no ICICI account. So I thought of giving money to him
in cash to pay the college fee.

Some books we need to buy in the college itself.

Will ring to Sarath to see if he can go to the College and buy those
books for her.

Thank you.

with regards,
Prasanthi.
