Dear Team, Today finally I mailed my friends and colleagues in my office about our group and gave a small intro of our activities and also gave the info about baby suchitra and the milk tins requirement of kkss orphanage for infants who cannot tolerate lactose. The main reason tat i never told anybody in my office about TMAD or our activities is that nobody wil respond and I had wrong notion that they might not respond. But as I pressed the button Send in my outlook, I started getting replies to my mail, and some started to visit my place and started to enquire abt the group and ainly showed interest in visiting the orphanage and baby suchitra. Some silently sent money to my icici acct and silently informed me to check my account. Again I never expected the amount to be hgh. But within one hour four of them sent the money . Ms. hema 1000, Shanmugaraja 300, Aswanikumar - 500 and Madhumitha 1000 Totally 2800 rupees. i asked them what would they like the money to be spent on. they said either milk tins or Surgery. I was overwhelmed with the response. Immediately I told this to prasanthi and she updated chennai page and some more pages in our website and many of my colleagues visited our website today. We planned to visit the ome on sunday and give some milk tins from the money collected and fom the group too if possible. they need 4 tins per day. So i visited the hospital where the surgery was performed on suchitra last week. But they used local stents and they bulged and so they need to do resugery this week. Tomorrow Dr.Sai Lakshmi, will speak to her senior Doctor and confirm the future action and hopefully they will go ahead with resurgery in the next week. Dr Sai lakshmi told so many interesting things. She with another 100 pedatricians started some organisation kind of a thing where they will visit the orphanages homes for children and check the kids and if any one has any ailments they take them to good hospital and with the help of some hospitals and some donors with subsidised/free surgeries they treat these kids and our baby suchitra is one among them. The Home is very far from the city and I am staying on the other end of the city so I am very far from the Home. But now that i got so many others joining me in the visit, we will spend few hours there this sunday. Will update on sunday. Wish the chennai team good going and All the Best. ArunK P.S. First mail to the group and overall also first big mail frm my laptop at Home:))
