We (TMAD group) will be a supporter of 5th Pillar. Vijay garu asked
me to be the PRC. I accepted this only for some period till they
get a direct volunteer base.
That day we discussed with Rakesh. We will be proceeding in a very
strategic way. Interested members will be formed as
serious/dedicated volunteers for this RTI act and we will form teams
for each area, Education, Health, Livelihood, Villages, Emergencies
(as you said) etc.,
There are already senior people who have been studying various acts
and rules.
Dileep garu of Spruha (the translator of John Perkins' Confessions
of an Economic Hitman) is also interested in RTI and he will also be
stepping into it. We definitely can expect positive results.
Please post in your blog about our meeting and ask everyone to
participate. Now we got the venue fit for 200 people. So we should
utilize this opportunity and invite as many members as we can.
I take this opportunity to request all members (other than Hyd
Chapter) to prepare a list of questions that you wish to ask. We
will be posing those questions in the meeting.
