One more breakthrough: I got a very quick reply from Sonam Kapadia, brother of Lt. Nawang Kapadia, to my guestbook entry.
This is my post: ============================================= Respected Harish ji and Geeta ji, Very much inspired after reading about Lt. Nawang. I, as every other Indian Citizen, respect our defence personnel. I am a normal individual. But I long to do something important and of value for our forces. I want to fight to get justice in the case of Capt. Saurabh Kaliya who braved the tortures of the Pakistan army during Kargil War. We want to know what govt. did to ensure that such kind of acts are not repeated. Incidents like these keep on repeating and one Major Fazlur Rehman of Bangladesh army and his team killed our BSF Jawans near Bangla border. We need your support too in this regard. All the families of defence personnel should support this cause and the citizens are with you. We respect you, defence personnel and their proud families, more than anyone else. We started to think in this regard very recently, Oct 1st 2007. We are doing the ground work. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi. [EMAIL PROTECTED] ============================================= His reply: ============================================= Dear Sir, Thank you for your post on Lt. Nawang Kapadia's webmemorial. I am happy to assist you in anyway that we can in seeking information on what action the government has taken in this regard. My suggestion is that please use the RTI effectively for this and ask the question to both the External Affairs ministry and to the Defence Ministry Regards, Sonam ============================================= Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
