Hi, Please share your opinion on the day long program and the timings.
Raising money for this purpose would be a problem. I am requesting some of my friends if they are willing to sponsor. In Kamat hotel, a meal costs Rs. 40 (a year back. not sure of the rate now). If we think of it as Rs. 50 and if we have to order for 75 people, it would be Rs. 3750. Venue cost would be Rs. 1000 (in the least). For tea and snacks, few more hundreds. If we think of it as Rs. 5500 and odd (for a maximum turn up), can we proceed? We do not get a visible result out of this effort and it would not be immediate too. It is not like paying a school fee or helping a surgery. I am not interested to ask from the group fund. Are there anyone among us who are interested to contribute specific for this meeting? I am insisting on a day long meeting because we get people only once. It is very difficult to get them for successive meetings and it would not be right on our part too. In three to four hours we can not discuss and know others better. Any other suggestions also welcome. Thank you. with regards, Prasanthi.
