As of now I know tht the lady has been admitted in thr becos of CM funds. The hospital straightaway said NO to admit her if they didnt deposit atleast half the amount. Now they are giving reasons to wait on surgery, and gave a headsup tht the family needs to pay out the bill before her discharge, right after her surgery while they wait on her in ICU - post surgery care. We will have to to talk to ppl we know thr and see wht the hospital end plans and thinks on this case.
I am unsure if we can file for funds after surgery - how long tht wud take, and if the hospital will even consider it and give some time to the family. Seriously doubt tht. Sai seva samithi - mmmmmm....caste/religion interference will take over here. Tht is wht I feel. Nothing wrong in trying though, if we still want' to consider tht. Overall - time is of essence here. Thr isnt' really much time left on hand. Matter of hrs/couple of days. So, either its a yes or a no I guess - even if its a yes to contribute partially - if not the full balance. LIke I mentioned earlier I can surely explain to them if the group decides not to take up this case. Its a majority decision as always. I however feel that telling this family now tht thr r other ways they cud/shud try for funds and ask them to apply with various other organisations - wud be a bit on the off end. I might aswell just give a decision on the group front and then suggest these other options. Wht does the US team say, looks like all have come back from thnksgiving vacations ;) We need votes here guys - doesnt matter yes or no, but members need to reply soon - time matters here. Thnks..
